12 Duan Jin

12 Duan Jin (Shi Er Duan Jin) is a new form of Health Qigong which has inherited the essence of different schools of the original exercise. It is a set of systematic sitting posture exercises which are done in order of head, neck, shoulders, back, waist, upper limbs, lower limbs, chest and abdomen. Practicing this form of Health Qigong can strengthen movements of one's neck, shoulders, waist, and legs.

Yi Jin Jing

Yi Jin Jing, in which the word “Jin” means tendon, is a form that focuses on movements which simultaneously stretches the tendons and opens up various acupuncture points along the 12 meridians of the body. This is a beginners' course, which focuses on movements and basic techniques

Daoyin Yang Sheng Gong Shi Er Fa

Daoyin Yang Sheng Gong Shi Er Fa contains 12 routines extracted from more than 50 Daoyin Yang Sheng Gong exercises drafted and promoted by Professor Zhang Deguang of Beijing Sport University since 1974. It is a set of exercise that is guided by the Theory of Viscera and Channels, Theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, and the Theory of Qi and Blood. Altogether, it is a complete integration of health preservation, physical exercise and spiritual cultivation.

Health Qigong Practice - Green Realty Group

Every Sunday morning, instructor Edward Ho leads a group Health Qigong practice at the Cummer Park Community Centre. This is a community activity organized by the Green Realty Group. Various Health Qigong styles are practiced throughout the year.

Qigong Exercise - Liu Zi Jue

Liu Zi Jue uses principles of resonance in the vibrations and frequencies emitted from one’s voice to massage the internal organs. As its name implies “Liu Zi”, meaning six words, this Health Qigong form combines mild body movements with six complex sounds to integrate exercise of the external and internal parts of one’s body.

Qigong Exercise - Wu Qin Xi

Wu Qin Xi is generated from the forms of five animals: lion, crane, deer, bear, and monkey. It challenges the human body and mind to adjust to postures, motions, and tones found in the animal world. This is an intermediate level course. Students should have learned the fundamental styles of Health Qigong: Ba Duan Jin and Yi Jin Jing before enrolling in this class.

Fook Moon Tai-Chi Chuan Club (Langstaff Community Centre - Richmond Hill)

Ba Duan Jin

Ba Duan Jin is considered the most fundamental form in health qigong. It combines constant rotation of joints with contracting and expanding motions of the body to improve agility, strengthen the lower body and dredge the meridian system. This is a beginners' course, which focuses on movements and basic techniques.
