Qigong Exercise - Ba Duan Jin

Ba Duan Jin is considered the most fundamental form in health qigong. Its origin can be found as far back as the Song Dynasty. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, its development matured into a complete exercise of limbs movements. Modern Health Qigong - Ba Duan Jin is compiled by Beijing Sports University. Building on the core essences of traditional Ba Duan Jin, principals of Physiology are used to study and modify the exercise. The current version of Ba Duan Jin focuses on the harmonic combination of physical movement, mind, and breath to achieve fitness and health preservation.
